Why did I call my business Ariadne's Thread?
The reason is rooted in the Greek myth “Theseus and the Minotaur”.
Theseus finds he is to enter the labyrinth where the Minotaur resides. Without any weapons or armour he is at a loss as to how he will slay the beast and then be able to find his way back out to freedom.
Fortunately for Theseus, Ariadne comes to his rescue. She supplies him with a sword and a ball of thread. He ties one end of the thread to the start of the labyrinth and then makes his way towards the Minotaur. He finds and kills the beast with the sword she gave him and then retraces his steps out of the maze by following Ariadne’s thread.
I think of consultancy as giving people the tools to solve their problems. Like Ariadne and her thread, I want to help you find your own way out through the maze.
